Doctors Cairns

Thanks for reading our first post! The aim of the blog is to provide some more detailed information about our clinic and how we can be of assistance to you.
Central Plaza Doctors opened in April 2011 with the aim of providing high quality healthcare for the people of Cairns in a purpose built, state of the art medical centre.
The clinic is located in the heart of the Cairns CBD, directly opposite Cairns Central Shopping Centre, making it convenient for people to pop into the doctors when they are at the shops or the way home from work.
We know how frustrating it can be trying to get a doctors appointment when you need it. Also it's hard finding a doctor open afterhours and on the weekends or public holidays.
The clinic is open 8am - 10pm weekdays and 9am - 5pm weekends and public holidays. It is best to try to make an appointment by calling reception on 07 40468600, however, you are welcome to walk-in anytime. Typical wait times for a walk-in patient are about 45 minutes.
We currently have six full-time doctors on staff with more starting in the coming months. We aim to roster extra doctors on in the afternoons and evenings to make it easier for people to see a doctor on the way home from work.
